The School has established joint program -- Mechanical Design, Manufacture & Automation (International Engineering) with Hochschule Furtwangen University at undergraduate level; and has signed the enrollment agreement with Hochschule Kaiserslautern -- University of Applied Sciences at postgraduate level in Germany, and conducted academic exchanges with University of Stuttgart in CNC technology every year. The School of Mechanical Engineering has established long term collaborations with a number of universities and education institutes in Japan, Korea and Pakistan. Every year dozens of undergraduates and postgraduates go overseas to study and exchange. In academic area, Advanced Manufacturing Technology Forum is held by the school once every two years with University of Stuttgart; International Symposium on Advanced Mechanical and Power Engineering is conducted every year with Fukui University and Pukyong National University. These activities enable the school to establish a platform for external communication and cooperation, so as to broaden school academic scope and provide further room for the school development.
